Angela is a Virginia Wesleyan and Harvard Business School Alumni and an Ordained Chaplin. She has served as consortium member for Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School and MIT. She has traveled, organized and produced programs around the world, including extensive foreign Asian business studies with Harvard Business School in Japan. She is currently a part of the Harvard Business School US Competiveness Project, which is attempting to identify ways to increase the opportunities available to the youth of America.
She has won more than 47 National and International awards in the last 17 years, as a Producer, Creator, Writer, Director and Composer including two Animation Oscar nominations know as “Annie’s.” She has also been recognized for Public Relations and communication strategies.
In 2009, she was recognized by Virginia Wesleyan College and presented the Distinguished Alumnus award. In 2012 her video production presentation to Standard & Poor assisted in saving a local city 2.8 million dollars as their city bond rating was improved with the imparted vision of their success and resources as a community. In 2014 Angela received the VML (Virginia Municipal League) Communications Award for the State of Virginia. She also received the Inside Business “Women in Business” Award.
Currently Angela serves as a Director on the Economic Development Authority and as Public Information Officer for the City of Poquoson. Director of Communication for the Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT), a member of the Board of Directors for Virginia Wesleyan College, Hampton Roads AUVSI Board Member, Virginia MAAP initiative for Unmanned Flight Committee Member , Education Foundation Board of Directors, and as an Advisory Board member and Communication Director for Chaplin’s International.
She recently completed an Aerial HD filming of Poquoson with the Discovery, Planet Earth technology.
Professional affiliations include: The Academy of Arts & Sciences, Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, International Animated Film Society, Harvard Alumni & Virginia Wesleyan Alumni Associations, Rotary International, Fulbright Association and many other civic and professional organizations.
Costello Productions, which began in 1990, was rebranded Angela Costello Group (ACG) in 2011.
